Halo Natural is an exceptional illustration of a single-origin coffee from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region, characterized by its natural processing method. The Cherries were processed at a mill adjacent to the Halo Beriti village in the southern Ethiopian Gedeb region, which is where this coffee gets its name.  Halo Natural boasts delightful flavours of berries and peach wine.

This coffee is from the same harvest as the Halo Washed and is great to compare the taste of processing can have on coffee

ALTITUDE: 2100 - 2200 MASL

VARIETAL: REGIONAL LANDRACE

PROCESS: NATURAL

TASTING: Strawberry, raspberry, cherry & peach wine

NOTES:  The coffee is grown on fertile red-brown clay soil with good drainage, and it undergoes fermentation for 48-76 hours depending on the heat. The drying process involves sun-drying the cherries on raised beds for 4-6 weeks, during which the cherries are turned every few hours to prevent over-fermentation. The coffee is shade-grown and receives an average rainfall of 1800-2000 mm with an average annual temperature of 20-23OC.
